Our parnership with BirdLife International
The Hellenic Ornithological Society is a partner of BirdLife International, the greatest world organization concerned with the protection of birds and their habitats.
The aim of BirdLife International is the conservation of all bird species on earth and their natural environment, as well as the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources. The partners of BirdLife International are non-profit societies, from all over the world, who have signed a Parntership Agreement stating common aims for environmental protection and a strategy which can be applied according to the particular situation of each country. BirdLife International has 42 partners all over the world and cooperates with representatives in more than 100 countries. |
