Schedule of meetings in Athens Schedule of meetings in Thessaloniki Meetings in Athens The meetings of the members of the Hellenic Ornithological Society in Athens take place Thursday evening, between 19.00-21.00, in the offices of the Hellenic Ornithological Society, Vas. Irakleiou 24, Athens. The purpose of the meetings is the acquaintance of the members with each other, the exchange of information, and the enrichment of the members’ knowledge. For this purpose, each meeting includes presentation of a subject concerning birds, habitats and their protection. To confirm that a particular meeting or presentation will actually take place, please contact the HOS offices (tel. 210 8227937, 210 8228704). The Athens meeting schedule for the year 2004 is not final yet. |

Meetings in Thessaloniki The HOS volunteer group of Thessaloniki meets every second Thursday, at 8:00pm, in the offices of the Hellenic Ornithological Society, 8, Kastritsiou Str. There are also monthly presentations of nature images. For the year 2004, these presentations are scheduled on the following dates:
