Support the HOS

Everyone who is interested in birds and their habitats can become a member of the HOS. No expert knowledge is necessary.

What is another supporter?

Your presence helps up exert pressure on competent authorities towards decisions compatible with nature conservation (the more members we have, the more weight our opinion will have)
The small annual subscription is added to that of other supporters, resulting in an important source of income.
Supporters may offer, depending on their time, direct volunteer work in some of the HOS's everyday activities.

In addition to your personal contribution to environmental protection, you will have:

a free subscription to Oeonus, the HOS magazine (the magazine is published only in greek)
actual participation in programs of the Hellenic Ornithological Society and direct participation in volunteer programs
participation in HOS activities, slides shows, lectures
information on field projects for the protection of species and their habitats
participation in the HOS field trips
